(RTTNews) – Carrie Underwood and Darius Rucker have volunteered for the ACM Music Camp this year.
Underwood and Rucker will be joining previously announced volunteer Gary Allan at the second annual ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp, funded by the ACM and offered through the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center to help people with Williams syndrome and other developmental disabilities. Underwood and Rucker will work with campers on a recording session, with Rucker performing live at the Grand Ole Opry.
Other celebrity volunteers for the camp this year include Little Big Town, Wynonna, producer Mark Bright and songwriters Odie Blackmon and Brett James, with Allen, Blackmon and James slated to hold a songwriting session with camp participants.
The week-long program will take place in Nashville from June 26 to July 1.
