My nephew was diagnosed with WS when he was 1. This video has given my
family so much hope.Thank you.
While researching WS during preparation for my medical school board exam I
came across your video. Not only did I learn from it, but I was also
inspired. Thank you Aaron and family! You all seem like incredible
people, especially Aaron! And congrats on the blackbelt, that’s awesome…
Aaron and family, thank you SOOOOO very much for sharing your story. My
son is 4, and was diagnosed late with WS, and I must say that seeing you
all gives me hope for the future. I hope to meet you sometime — perhaps
at the WS Conference this year.
He sure sounds and looks much more normal then some of them though no
offence he does look older
Great job – it’s a wonderful video. Bittersweet, but that’s also the best
flavor of chocolate imo!
What a fanastic video. Thank you for letting into your life and sharing
your struggles/benefits about William’s Syndrome. It is much appreciated!
That comparison has been made before. I read a fascinating article
exploring a spectrum of sorts placing Autism on one hand and Williams
Syndrome on the other. Wish I could remember the source.
I love your video…Your brother looks great… Does he drive? I know your
mom says he lives with them, can I ask why she thinks he will never live
independantly? My daughter has williams ans is 5…just wondering?
I have Williams Syndrome and i am A Happy Guy i am the onley one in my
Family that Has Williams Syndrome and i have six sisters and no brothers=D
So what is it about those other 26-28 genes that turns the rest of us into
miserable assholes that hate everybody?
Hey there. I have WS and it is a struggle for me and my mom because of all
the things I do. but we keep trying to get through every day.
Wow i was just learning about this syndrome! And watching ur video helped
me understand this disease so well!!! He seems to be truly a blessing to
the family!!! Wishing him the best in the future- its amazing to see how
motivated he is and is inspiring to anyone who comes across this video!!!!
Proud to say I know Senseis Kate and Aaron (he has, in fact, earned the
Black Belt he was preparing for in the vid) and their mom Shihan Lynn (and
most of her other kids too) and they are probably the closest, most loving
family I’ve ever known. It has been an honor to be part of their karate
family for the last 10 years and I love them all. Keep on truckin, Aaron!
This is such a sweet video! I love it and Im inspired by it even though I
personally dont have WS and have never met anyone with WS. Im considering
have a career working with people with WS (:
my son who is 2 was diagnosed on wednesday…i cant tell you how much
listening to your other has helped me. thank you so much for posting this

I understand that people with Williams Syndrome have advanced social
confidence. So is WS the opposite of Autism?
